A Groundbreaking 100-Mile Foil Crossing from O'ahu to Kaua'i
Lift Foils team riders Mala'e McElheny and Brady Hurley made history as the first to foil across the Ka'ie'ie Waho Channel – pushing the boundaries of what's possible in downwind foiling. At just 16 and 18 years old, these young watermen completed the 100-mile open ocean journey from O'ahu to Kaua'i.
On August 23rd, Mala’e and Brady redefined what’s possible in the world of foiling. Their pioneering feat not only marks a milestone for Lift Foils, but also for the entire global foil community.
